Missing Glee ...

These past few days I'd been so moody. I don't understand why but ever since I returned from a short trip to KL last week, my mood was erratic. I didn't feel like working ... but I have heaps of reports and paper works to be submitted to KL for approval. Especially plans for 4th quarter 2010. I went through this week's assignment "halfheartedly" and "heavy headed".

I sleep well, I eat well ... even got belanja buka puasa in some nice restaurant some more (oppssss). I knew I am missing something but don't quite figure out what? Then today I wrapped up the last episode of Season 7 NCIS. Hmm ... not satisfying enough ... Watched 3 hit movies this week ... Inception, Salt, including the so-so Avatar:The Last Airbender. Still not happy ...

Even got myself the book ... Eat, Pray, Love with the hope of getting some enlightenment or at least some light at the end of tunnel. Instead, my eyes felt heavier with each page. The only light I saw was my room light which I forgotten to switch off the next morning hehehe

Then I remembered Norzah's advice, why not put on a nice music. Hmmm ... define nice music Jaime, I asked myself. What kind of music i like to hear to uplift my spirit? As I was looking through my collections of MP3s , never, never in my wildest imagination that the first song I chose was Bad Romance ... not from Lady Gaga ....

But from the Cast of Glee.

I soooooooooooooooo miss Glee. Oh Please let August be over!

Congratulations for getting a new entry done, J. in spite of your erratic mood. I'm sure this is the normal mood swing and it'll soon go, especially when Glee's new season starts in September.
If Eat, Pray , Love and 3 hit movies cannot dispel the gloom and restore your normal bouyancy, (don't know whether the good music helps), lend me recommend another novel by Orphan Pamuk, The Museum of Innocence. My Name is Red is philosophical but quite boring. Never mind if you didn't really read it.
This one is about a rich man engaged to a rich girl but after the engagement found himself madly in love with the girl he'd passed over. He collected everything that reminded him of the girl and their love-making to set up a museum.....ok, that's enough but he really worshipped her image...no, that's enough.
No wonder Orhan Pamuk won the Nobel Prize in Literature. Never thought a man could love a girl that much. Search for the book, look around for the man, and enjoy love as it should be without the ideals that often break our heart.
Finally, Glee's musics and songs are good. But try the old "Three Coins in the Fountain" for a nostalgic spin into the tender world of inspiring hope.

Thanks Norzah.Normally the mood swing occurs when I have something I want to do but at the same time I need to complete a task or assignment. U know your heart is on something but your mind is elsewhere.

After Raya I have so many line up programs that I have to take the whole month of Ramadan to plan. On 21st sept I am off for my PTK4.But thank God, the dark days are over and even my good friends are helping me out now in term of planning and creative ideas on some of it. Friends in the event industries.

I saw the book and initially was thinking of getting it instead of My Name is Red. But that time I was enthrall but some lines that you often quoted from My Name is Red so I halted the plan. But I am not sure we are talking about same book but I remembered that the synopsis on the cover said of a man who has been travelling out of istanbul working in a liibrary or something, and to return to his hometown to work in a library or museum that bring back certain memories.

However busy you're you need a book about someone feeling very miserable to make you feel ok, J. In life we need to see a person without legs to realize that we're blessed to have them even if they hurt us sometimes. Friends at work help to push us through difficult times but a soul-friend helps to keep our emotionson even keel. A good book sometimes serves the same purpose.
Hey where are your other friends on the blog? They don't seem to drop in like before or is it because of Ramadahn? I hope it's not because as we get higher up on the career scale, we tend to get more serious and loose our sense of humor. I think we've lots of
rib-tickling jokes about Penang that await your editing in the characteristic Jaime style, hehehe.

My writings now seems to be more on the serious side oredi Norzah. And most couldn;t relate to it anymore. Or perhaps my writing now has lost its appeal :(
